How it's made
Shop dry carbon parts →Inside the autoclave
Real carbon is a craft — we make it dry and wet. Here's how our dry-carbon parts are built, and how to tell genuine carbon from fake overlay film.
01
3D scan & design
The factory part is digitised to 0.05mm so the carbon matches every curve.
02
Pre-preg lay-up
Aerospace 2×2 twill pre-preg is hand-laid into a CNC aluminium mould, layer by layer.
03
Autoclave cure
Cured at 130°C under 6-bar pressure for 4 hours — void-free, the step cheap parts skip.
04
Trim, sand & QC
Edges CNC-trimmed, surface hand-sanded to 2000-grit, fitment checked on a reference car.
05
UV clear & ship
Six layers of UV-stable lacquer, photo inspection, then DHL worldwide.

Dry & wet carbon — vs fake overlay
We make both dry and wet carbon — both are 100% genuine. Here's the difference, and the overlay film to watch out for.
Dry carbon Drago
- Pre-preg + autoclave. Resin pre-impregnated, cured under heat & pressure.
- Void-free & light. ~40% lighter than OEM, maximum stiffness.
- Structural. Real aero parts, motorsport-grade.
- Deep, even weave — UV-stable, won't yellow.
Wet-laid carbon Drago
- Genuine carbon fibre, hand-laid by our team.
- More affordable than dry — the same real weave.
- Ideal for trim & cosmetic parts.
- Deep gloss finish, made to your chassis.
Carbon "overlay" / hydro-dip
- A carbon-look film over plastic.
- No structural carbon at all.
- Peels, bubbles, fades in the sun.
- The "carbon" in most cheap listings.
